Jennifer’s journey into art and philanthropy began with a deep-rooted passion for creativity and a profound belief in the healing power of artistic expression. From an early age, Jennifer immersed herself in the arts; inspired by all things creative, she explored various artistic mediums. At the age of twelve, Jennifer had a near-fatal equestrian accident, and her love of art, particularly film, became an essential part of her healing.
Inspired by her childhood best friend’s, Tara Williamson’s, selflessness as she navigated the heartbreaking struggle of her boyfriend’s battle with Leukemia and then hearing first-hand from Stephen Hatten (Tara’s boyfriend and Jennifer’s childhood friend) about his experience in the hospital and one particular child he met. Tara and Stephen’s story coupled with Jennifer’s dedication to merging art with altruism, led her to establish The Art of Elysium, an organization dedicated to harnessing the transformative potential of art to uplift individuals facing illness and adversity. Under Jennifer’s leadership, The Art of Elysium has become a beacon of hope bringing together volunteer artists with communities of need to create meaningful experiences that resonate deeply with participants and allow them to transcend their circumstances through creativity.
Beyond her work with The Art of Elysium, Jennifer’s visionary spirit extends to EBStudios, where she continues to champion artistic innovation and community engagement. Through EBStudios, Jennifer strives to foster a vibrant cultural landscape that celebrates and supports artists from all backgrounds and allows them to teach the next generation what they have learned through their personal creative endeavors.
Jennifer’s commitment to philanthropy extends beyond her organizational endeavors. She actively collaborates with various non-profits and community initiatives, leveraging her expertise and influence to amplify the impact of artistic initiatives worldwide. Jennifer’s advocacy and leadership exemplify her unwavering dedication to making a positive difference through art and compassion.
She also extends her belief in the healing power of creativity into holistic wellness and is certified in interdisciplinary somatic practices, including being a Reiki II practitioner, a breathwork and flexibility trainer, a nutrition coach and is a certified death doula, providing various forms of support for the end-of-life process. Jennifer is committed to deepening her capability of providing care to others in as many meaningful ways as possible, in mind, body and spirit.
As she continues to shape the intersection of art and philanthropy, Jennifer remains a guiding force, inspiring others to harness their creativity for the greater good and fostering a community where artistic expression thrives as a catalyst for positive change.
